Refund Policy
Last updated 23 August 2026
Before this goes live
This has been written to match what the service actually does, but it has not
been reviewed by a lawyer. Maryland and federal rules on money services,
prepaid access and consumer refunds may require changes or additions —
particularly around whether this business is a money transmitter. Please have
a Maryland attorney read it before relying on it.
The short version
If we took your money and you did not get what you paid
for, you get it back.
If you did get it, we cannot take it back — a top-up is on somebody's phone
within seconds and a gift card code cannot be un-seen.
Why digital products are different
There is nothing to return here. A top-up is credit on a phone line, and a
gift card is a code. The moment either has been delivered, it is spent from our
side: we have already paid the network or the card issuer, and there is no way
to take it back.
So a refund is not about changing your mind. It is about something having
gone wrong.
When you get a full refund
- The top-up did not arrive. You paid, the credit never appeared, and
we cannot deliver it. Full refund.
- The gift card code did not work, and the issuer confirms it was
never valid. Full refund.
- You were charged twice for the same order. The duplicate is
refunded.
- We cancelled your order for any reason after taking payment.
- The order failed at our end — our supplier was down, the product was
withdrawn, anything of that kind.
In each of these we refund the whole amount, to the same card or PayPal
account you paid from.
When we cannot refund
- You typed the wrong number. The credit went to the number you
entered and is now somebody else's. We will help you try, but we cannot
reverse it and we cannot make a stranger hand it back. Please check the number
before you pay.
- You have seen the gift card code. Whether or not you used it, it
has been delivered. If a code is genuinely faulty we will take it up with the
issuer.
- You changed your mind after delivery.
- The credit arrived but the network applied it differently than you
expected — bundles, expiry and how credit is used are set by the operator.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with your order reference —
it starts with DB- and is on your receipt and in your order history — and what
happened. The sooner the better, and within thirty days of the order.
How long it takes
- We reply within one business day.
- Where the answer is clear, we approve within three business days.
- Where we have to ask our supplier or the card issuer, it can take up to
ten business days. We will keep you posted rather than leaving you
waiting.
- Once approved, the money leaves us immediately. Your bank may take a
further five to ten business days to show it, which is their timing
rather than ours.
What a refund also undoes
A refunded order is treated as though it never happened:
- Points earned on it are taken back.
- Points you spent on it are returned to you.
- Referral commission from it is cancelled.
This is not a penalty. It is simply that the rewards existed because of a
purchase, and there is no longer a purchase.
If you disagree with us
Tell us — write to [email protected] and say why. We
would far rather sort it out directly than have you raise a chargeback, which
is slower for you and costs us both.
